Each home is located right on, or across the street with unobstructed views, from The Atlantic Ocean…you are sure to taste the salt mist in the air from the crashing waves.
Fogo Island is the location of our first homes. We have 3 homes in the Town of Fogo, known as one of the four corners of the earth according to the Flat Earth Society. As you walk the trails of beautiful Brimstone Head and Fogo Head, the sights of the town will leave you wondering why you didn’t come sooner, or stay longer. Explore the rest of Fogo Island to find quaint fishing villages and a history lesson they didn’t teach in school.
New World Island and the Twillingate area is home to 3 more locations. Known for its iceberg and whale watching, there is so much more to explore. Rugged cliffs, fresh lobster ponds, kayaking, boat tours, lighthouses, dinner theatre, shows and museums, just to name a few. Be sure to leave extra time for your visit here.
Musgrave Harbour Beach house and Greenspond Island are where you will find 2 more additions to The Old Salt Box Co. family of homes. You will be amazed as you walk barefoot down the white sand beach of Musgrave Harbour while icebergs float by. If walking or hiking is your passion then both locations will suit your needs. The spectacular scenery of Greenspond Island is sure to capture your heart forever.

Off Season
Don’t forget about the beautiful shoulder seasons (also known at ‘Early-bird Iceberg Season’ and ‘Exploring Off-Season’) at The Old Salt Box Co. The homes are open for you to enjoy late into the fall and early spring. Take part in off season activities, local carnivals or just watch mother nature give her best show from the comfort of your couch.
